Whilst we’re enduring some true winter weather here in Encinitas and the surf may not be looking all that great this weekend, we always have an incredible selection of surfboards to brighten up any day. Here’s some our new and notable arrivals this week.

We know that searching for the perfect board can be time a consuming and frustrating process. Here at our shop have an ever revolving rack of preloved boards and timing can be everything when it comes to getting lucky with the perfect board at a great price. This Gary McNeill ‘Rasta Mungbean’ quad is a fun quiver addition. It’s in good condition with the regular signs of wear and tear. A couple minor repairs and a bit of paint chip by the nose. A great board if you’re starting out, or looking for a little extra volume and wave catching ability, without comprimising your maneuverability. This board even comes complete with a set of fins and a board bag for just $275!

This fun looking 9’2 Moura Longboard is in good condition. Little signs of wear and tear with a small pro ding repair on the tail and a couple little scratches, but watertight and ready to hit the waves. A nice refined shape with more of a performance feel and a little extra rocker will have you ready for the next winter swell. Selling w/o fins, just $450.

This great all-rounder 7’0 fun board is the perfect addition to your small wave quiver, or for anyone looking to downsize or get onto their first hard board. Nearly new condition, no dings or repairs and in tough and responsive epoxy construction this one won’t sit in the racks for long! Just $380!!!!

We don’t see too many of these in the Racks. This 5 fin option Von Sol epoxy construction board is the ultimate ride. Catch waves easily and enjoy a fun and fast ride. These boards are super durable, and this one’s in perfect condition. Make it your for $450 - includes fins!!

DONALD TAKAYAMA SCORPION:

High performance and miniture version of the original Scorpion! This board takes cutbacks and buttom turns to a new level, easy to turn because of its pulled in v within the tail. You can ride this board shorter than a conventional surfboard, because of its dimensions and versitaility. This board offers more stability than your normal shortboard. 

Fletcher Chouinard ‘Fark”

Super versatile and fast. Shorter, flatter, and more curvy than a high performance shortboard, but not as limiting as a fish. Swallowtail quad has excellent drive and hold, yet still feels loose and lively. Accelerates quickly.Early entry rocker and low swing weight. Single concave.

This board is epoxy and has sone slight yellowing due to UV exposure. Very little to no pressure dents, looks in excellent condition.

SOLD Donald Takayama ‘In The Pink’ High Performance Noserider:

Ultimate high performance noserider! This is definitely the most loved and sought after model in Donalds range. Able to surf anything from one foot slop to overhead barrels, the In The Pink is definitely THE one longboard you must own. Perfect for the rider looking to own one longboard, or someone who is looking to become more accustomed to the nose, the In The Pink will have you loving your surfing again.

Nirvana Surfboards ‘73 SINGLE 

‘Originally shaped in 1973 on the Central Coast of Australia by Bill Cilia. Shaped two years after the creation of Nirvana Bill created a single fin that was ahead of its time! Big waves small punchy waves whatever or wherever you surf this is a classic ride from a classic time and is a must have for any quiver.

Excellent condition board, ready for some bigger waves or everyday fun!

It's your perfect hybrid between the retro fish and your modern performance shortboard. Perfect for flying down the line and smacking lips.The Batmoboard is ideal for progressive performance surfing in all conditions. The beveled rails with extra volume offer natural speed and an easy paddle, perfect for big clean airs. The hip in the tail loosens up the board to fit in the pocket and get drained in the barrel.

5’8 Panda Doinker - Its what it looks like weird and fun! This is such a fun board for tiny 1ft waves up to 3ft. if its small this thing will get you up and flying faster than any other board in your quiver.
