John Hromin started shaping surfboards and foiling Fins in 1989 in a small shed off the side of his parents house. John is a Southern California native and has been located in San Diego County for the past 20 years.
John's passion for surfing starting at 9 years old while living in Huntington Beach. With a short walk to the beach, he spent countless hours surfing as many young professional surfers do. He continues to cherish this passion and finds time to surf almost daily. John rides all of his products so his knowledge is priceless.
Over the years he has developed the Boomerang Series Surfboard product line and shaped for Linden Surfboards, Brewer Surfboards and Von Sol Surfboards. All Fins and Surfboards are hand shaped to provide the precision and detail our customers expect.
